World Water Day 2012

View all 30 Photos

We bath in it. We drink it. We desire it. We are it. Water is the essential natural resource on the planet. It makes up most of the Globe and is the core ingredient in maintaining stability in our lives. Today, March 22, is World Water Day. Twenty years ago, it was decided to pay tribute to our water at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development. As we move along in our lives, let us not forget the fascination of one of Mother Nature’s most treasured gifts. Here is a collection of breathtaking images taken by photographers around the world for us to celebrate.
