This contemporary apartment in Saint Petersburg, Russia, was renovated by INT2 Architecture. Although relatively spacious at 1,130 square feet, the urban home makes the most of its space with meticulous organization. Built-in shelves are found in nearly every room, reducing clutter and making room for larger fixtures such as the clawfoot bathtub. Paired with an open plan common area and light, woodsy decor, the space-efficient apartment seems like a romantic retreat. The main room is enveloped in white with a few notable exceptions: the patterned wall paper behind the entertainment system, the darker wall with the piano, and the natural wooden dining enclave. The dining area is marked as a special place by its wooden pillars and slightly raised position. From this rare vantage point, guests can take in the hip decor and admire a rare view of the city through the large street-side window.
