A coat that incorporates NASA space suit tech to keep you warm.

Following the launch of the 2018 FW Workwear Capsule, Mission Workshop introduces an innovative coat that will maximize your comfort and style for the colder season. More than just a cool and versatile design, The Watchman marks a first in the apparel industry. Part of Mission Workshop’s Advanced Projects® series, the coat is the first garment in the world that features Primaloft® Gold High Loft Ultra with Cross Core™ insulation. This means that the coat provides superior warmth and comfort, but in a lightweight build. The cutting-edge insulation also features aerogel particles, an extremely lightweight material previously used by NASA in space suits. Paired with the Primaloft fibers, The Watchman’s insulating layer has a warmth-to-weight ratio that surpasses even the groundbreaking PrimaLoft Gold by 52%.

Made in Como, Italy for Mission Workshop, the exterior fabric is high-quality and durable. The 4-way-stretch material is lightweight and soft to the touch. It features an elegant matte surface as well as a next-generation D.DWR water-repellent finish. The 37.5® ultra-high-performance moisture management lining prevents overheating and also enhances breathability. Several pockets provide plenty of space for smaller essentials, while the interior cargo pocket suits gloves or a beanie perfectly. An adjustable zip-off hood, YKK weatherproof zippers, and elegant detailing complete the design. Photographs© Mission Workshop.
