Vipp’s Lounge Chair

View all 11 Photos

An elegant and comfortable lounge chair inspired by architecture and interior design.

Inspired by the architecture and interiors of the Vipp Shelter, the new Vipp Lounge Chair channels the same refinement with a blend of aluminum and dark leather. Perfect for lounge areas in private homes, the chair is also a great choice for offices, showrooms, restaurants, and bars. “Initially designed to be placed in front of the fireplace inside the Vipp Shelter, the lowered seat and oblique back rest are shaped to support conversation,” explains Morten Bo Jensen, Vipp Chief Designer.

As comfortable as it is stylish, the Vipp Lounge Chair features padded armrests reminiscent of the blades of a windmill. Slightly angled, the seat and backrest invite the user to relax. Rounded edges and the softness of the high-quality aniline leather with fine channel seams enhance comfort further. Made with a powder-coated aluminum and stainless steel frame, the chair also features a sturdy composite mesh on the back that provides more stability.

The versatile design ensures that the Vipp Lounge Chair looks at home in any setting, from classic to modern. The durable build also makes it ideal for any private, public, or commercial environment. Furthermore, the intentionally compact footprint uses minimal space in a room. Ultimately, the chair provides an elegant way to unwind, whether in a high-end hotel setting or in a living room.
