Electrifying Adventure: Discover the Pulse-Racing Vagabund KTM Freeride E Unveiled

The world of electric motorcycles has seen rapid development in recent years, and the Vagabund KTM Freeride E, an off-road electric motorcycle, is a prime example of the fusion of cutting-edge technology and bold design. Built by Austrian custom motorcycle shop Vagabund Moto, in collaboration with KTM, this limited edition bike is a true marvel for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Let’s take a closer look at the various aspects of this incredible machine.

Design and Aesthetics

Diving into the details of this remarkable creation, we find that the Vagabund KTM Freeride E’s distinctive and assertive design is what distinguishes it from the rest of the off-road motorcycle pack. The bike’s sleek and minimalistic appearance is achieved through the use of 3D-printed parts, which are not only lightweight but also incredibly strong. The black and orange color scheme, synonymous with KTM, adds to the bike’s visual appeal, making it a head-turner on the trails.

Performance and Range

At the heart of the Vagabund KTM Freeride E is a powerful electric motor that generates a peak output of 21.5 horsepower and 31 pound-feet of torque. This translates into instant acceleration and a top speed of around 50 miles per hour, making it an excellent choice for off-road riding. The motorcycle is equipped with a removable 2.6 kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides a range of up to 50 miles on a single charge, depending on riding conditions and style. The battery can be charged using a standard 110-volt outlet, allowing for easy and convenient charging on the go.

Suspension and Handling

The Vagabund KTM Freeride E boasts a high-quality suspension setup that ensures a smooth and comfortable ride on even the roughest terrain. The bike features a WP Xplor 43mm inverted fork at the front and a WP PDS monoshock at the rear, providing 9.8 and 10.2 inches of travel, respectively. This advanced suspension system, coupled with the bike’s lightweight construction, ensures excellent handling and agility, making it perfect for off-road adventures.

Additional Features

To enhance the bike’s off-road capabilities, the Vagabund KTM Freeride E is equipped with a host of additional features. The motorcycle comes with a skid plate to protect the motor and battery from potential damage, as well as handguards to shield the rider’s hands from debris. The bike also features a custom seat, offering improved ergonomics and comfort for longer rides. Photographs © Vagabund Moto.
