Unofish: Handcrafted Leather Basketballs

View all 11 Photos

The American brand Unofish handcrafts premium-quality basketballs and gym bags from materials such as naturally embossed ostrich leather and classic black polyurethane rims. Beautiful and durable, their products are a strong example of how sports gear can be both functional and elevated to the level of art through innovative design and skilled craftsmanship. Another good take is this Shinola football; it has amazing texture and color, but it’s also meant to be thrown.

Produced in limited edition, Unofish balls and bags are available online. Curious shopper should note that the high-end brand does give back to the community. For every ball sold, Unofish donates one to children through organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco.
