Croft House’s Tula Lounge Chair

View all 12 Photos

An elegant, handmade steel and leather lounge chair.

Founded in 2010, Los Angeles-based Croft House makes furniture that blends a minimalist aesthetic with sustainable design. The products channel the laid-back feel of Californian living but provide the sophistication of high-end furniture. Plus, they’re timeless and versatile as well as made with longevity in mind. Handmade locally, every product from their collection is crafted with care using natural and premium quality materials. This also applies to the Tula Lounge Chair. Stylish and bold, the lounge chair features a modern frame made with bent sheets of industrial steel. Completed with a patinated finish, the frame boasts a dark, rusty-brown color as well as eye-catching textures. Brown leather cushions in a matching hue enhance seating comfort.

Designed with a low profile, Tula is perfect as a lounge chair in a living room, home office, or bedroom. Similarly to other Croft House designs, the chair features an entirely handmade build. Custom-made in Los Angeles, each Tula Lounge Chair comes with a steel frame. Cut to size and welded, the metal boasts a special treatment that makes it resemble Corten steel. The custom cut leather also features hand-stitching. The cushions have a foam filling to ensure optimal seating comfort. Finally, customers can order the chair as a custom design. You can find the handmade Tula Lounge Chair in the Croft House online store at a price of $2,350. Photographs© Carley Rudd.
