The first TUDOR Black Bay diving watch with a ceramic case is also one-of-a-kind.
Founded in 1954, Swiss watch brand TUDOR has been making premium quality diving watches for decades. This year, the company has announced the launch of a special timepiece, the TUDOR Black Bay Ceramic One watch. Made for the 2019 Only Watch charity auction, this one-of-a-kind watch is both beautifully designed and skillfully built. It comes with a matte black ceramic case that measures 41mm. Consequently, this marks the first introduction of the popular Black Bay watch in ceramic.
All-black and timeless, the timepiece also features a PVD-treated steel case back and crown and a black titanium bezel. Likewise, the dial has a matte black finish and features luminescent markers. Thanks to the sapphire crystal on the back, the user can admire the intricate build of the movement. A “Piece Unique” engraving marks this timepiece as one-of-a-kind. On the front, there’s a domed sapphire crystal cover. Waterproof to 200 m, or 600 ft, this gorgeous timepiece represents a new chapter in the brand’s history of making state-of-the-art diving watches.
The TUDORTUDOR Black Bay Ceramic One watch features a Manufacture Calibre MT5602 self-winding mechanical movement with a black rotor and a 70-hour power reserve. Finally, a hybrid black alligator leather and rubber strap with a matte black clasp that features a satin finish completes the design. If you want to get your hands on this timepiece, you can bid for it at the Only Watch charity auction. This year, it takes place on November 9th, in Geneva. Photographs© TUDOR Watch and Only Watch.
