Introducing the Transparent Speaker Collection

Modular, see-through speakers that feature an easy-to-upgrade build.

Based in Stockholm, Transparent Speaker is an audio brand that brings Scandinavian design principles to the audio industry. More than just creatively minimalist, the brand’s speakers also put the focus on the durability and adaptability of audio products. The distinctive Transparent Speaker collection is modular as well as easy to adapt, repair, and upgrade as needed. A crucial step forward in an industry where products become obsolete from one year to the next.

Originally launched as a prototype in 2012, the brand’s original concept expanded over the years. The entire Transparent Speaker range looks at home in high-end interiors thanks to a minimalist, aluminum and tempered glass build. Of course, they also offer exquisite sound quality. While designed to make replacing parts as easy as possible, the speakers also feature recyclable materials, to make the upgrading process as green as possible.

The brand’s collection includes the Transparent Speaker and the Small Transparent Speaker. Both are wireless and come with Bluetooth, yet don’t require an app to work straight out of the box. Compatibility with Alexa’s Echo or a Sonos setup provides an easy solution to create a multiroom, wireless speaker system. The small speaker also comes with a practical True Wireless pairing feature, which makes it possible to play music on two speakers at the same time. Whether wall-mounted or placed on a shelf, the Transparent Speaker looks as good as it sounds.

Apart from the “see-through” range, the brand has also launched the limited-edition “Upcrafted” project, created in a partnership with talented artisans. The range features wood, steel, and ceramic speakers that celebrate craftsmanship, textures, and sound quality. The brand aims to launch the Small Transparent Speaker in Europe over the next weeks, with the US to follow. Photographs© Transparent Speaker.
