Architecture, Italians do it better

The UP House by ES-arch Enrico Scaramellini Architetto

The rebirth of an old building, the UP house, seeks to keep the profile of its former glory while improving on its original framework. The house exists on two levels- a stable on the ground floor and a barn on the first in its location of Madesimo, Italy. Designed by ES-arch, one of the greatest characteristics of this exquisite home is its double overlapping doors that merge into a wood and glass façade. A large rectangle shape part of the house contains these beautiful windows that holds a position as the home’s star feature. The remake of this traditional barn house is a remarkable blend of classic and modern architecture.
