Design, Italians do it better

The Impromptu Ishi Desk by Amitrani

View all 5 Photos

The latest from the Italian studio Amitrani, the Ishi Desk is a limited-edition piece of furniture. Made of wood, the design pairs naturally finished wooden legs with a white tabletop and base. The multitude of legs is inserted with no planning, just improvision. As a result, the slender rods have a wild, reedy look. Sandwiched between a rectangular tabletop and an irregular, curved base, the legs bring movement to the desk without compromising stability.
