The Hayama Villa by the Sea by Edward Suzuki

View all 10 Photos

Scenic views of Mt. Fuji and the versatile nature of the nearby sea can bring residents to a nurturing calm through the openness of a villa tucked away in the Hayama region Japan. Mostly made of glass, the front of the house is able to easily capture the breathtaking vistas of the outdoors, integrates it inside, and makes it a part of its environment. Edward Suzuki architecture designed this home on three stories where the underground level serves as the entrance, the garage and the storage area. The first floor consists of the bedrooms while the second includes the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen all working together in an open, undivided space. A large terrace stretches the whole front of the home allowing residents to further enjoy the beautiful scenery from the outside.
