The Handmade Rapha Classic Glasses II

View all 8 Photos

Founded in 2004, Rapha creates premium clothing and accessories for urban cyclists. “Designed without compromise for the most discerning riders, Rapha products use the finest fabrics and components to create apparel and accessories that offer road riders unrivaled levels of performance, comfort and style”, the company says. The Classic Glasses II are an upgraded version of the previous model and maintain the same stylish appearance while adding a touch of refinement thanks to a slightly reduced frame. 20% smaller and made with a longer frame arm, the glasses also feature a wraparound shape for better coverage and a ribbed gripper that guarantees a perfect fit, whether they are worn on a bike with a helmet or placed on the top of the head. Manufactured with the same components used in technical sports eyewear, the glasses combine performance and elegance in a design that looks great both on or off bike. The high quality acetate frames are handmade in Italy by the renowned Mazzucchelli 1849 company; the cotton-based organic material has a metal core reinforcement for more durability and strength. The Carl Zeiss lenses are polarized to reduce glare, have an anti-reflective coating on the back as well as oleophobic and hydrophobic coatings on both sides. Chic and convenient, the Classic Glasses II are available in several colors, including modern gray and eye-catching blonde. Images courtesy of Rapha .
