The Bogobrush, Biodegradable Bamboo Toothbrush

View all 4 Photos

Just as you care for your family, for the earth, for endangered animals; let’s be sure we remember to care for our bodies with equal diligence. As we have heard before, the source of all good health starts with your mouth. So, consider not only good oral hygiene but also good tools to practice with. The Bogobrush is completely biodegradable made of a bamboo handle and 100% nylon bristles. The bamboo is excellent in that it can grow faster than the product wears out.  Both the handle and bristles will decompose so easily you could bury them in your backyard. Available in white, natural, citron or teal they certainly don’t hide their fun side.

When sibling team John and Heather Mcdougall discovered how over 450 million plastic toothbrushes gather in just America’s landfills each year, they decided to come up with a better brush. Absolutely sincere advocates for green initiatives and full of kindness for humanity, this duo has brought to light another way we can participate. Their slogan states it’ll be the “first toothbrush you’ll actually care about”. Caring for the earth is one thing, touching the lives of people in it is another issue all its own. This toothbrush is backed by a world view philosophy. They have committed that every toothbrush purchased, someone in need will receive a free toothbrush. So as you brush, you can think of those you are enabling to take care of their teeth too.
