The Affinity House for Sparrows by Ryan Bruxvoort

View all 5 Photos

The Affinity House for Sparrows is a sloping, sculptural design by Ryan Bruxvoort. Made of 65 strips of wood, the gently curved birdhouse was precision-cut from just two solid boards of maple. Along the top and bottom, the pieces are horizontal. On the sides, however, they are a solid teardrop shape. Together, the varied cuts of timber form a complex and attractive home for small birds.
