A modern electric motorcycle with a vintage-inspired design.
As more automotive manufacturers embrace the e-revolution, the list of awesome builds grows by the day. And the latest design to swell the ranks of state-of-the-art electric motorcycles looks different than any other e-bike currently available. Designed and made by Brooklyn and Stockholm-based brand Tarform, this electric motorcycle stands out with its vintage-style good looks. The rich leather seat and bronze ring on the instrument panel complement the 3D-printed parts in a play between classic and contemporary. Here, traditional craftsmanship meets modern manufacturing and clean technology, with the battery and motor hidden under the matte black frame.
Beyond the old-time aesthetic, the bike has a range of cutting-edge tech. Connectivity features allow the user to receive info and maintenance alerts via an app and smartphone. Tarform also comes with an electric drivetrain and radial-mounted brakes. USD forks and a monoshock rear suspension complete the build. The bike provides a range of around 90 miles on a full charge, but the company also offers riding, sound, materials, and finish customization options. Available for pre-order, the Tarform electric motorcycle has a starting price of $18,000. Customers can also reserve a Collector’s Edition model on the company’s website. Photographs© Tarform.
