Inspired by his grandfather, a chimney sweeper who used to meticulously care for his few items of clothing and always look immaculate, David Samuelsson established Tangent GC (Garment Care) in Stockholm. The Swedish brand soon launched its first collection: high-quality and eco-friendly laundry and shoe care maintenance products. The range provides a natural way to look after beautifully crafted items of clothing and shoes, thus prolonging their life and making sure they stand the test of time. A skin care line also joined the garment care products later, offering an organic solution to everyday grooming routines.
Regardless of purpose, the entire Tangent GC collection is natural as well as cruelty free. It also features organic ingredients and gentle, chemical-free formulas that clean without damaging fabrics, the skin, or the environment. Natural scents complete the list of carefully selected ingredients, bringing a touch of nature to your wardrobe collection or skin care rituals.
Tangent GC Laundry Care
Envisioned as a companion to skillfully crafted apparel, Laundry Care provides a clean and green way to care for clothing. At the same time, the products prolong the life of each garment. The range includes everything you need to keep clothing spotless and beautifully scented at the same time. You can find an everyday detergent, fabric softener, and stain remover, as well as an extra delicate detergent developed for materials like silk and wool. The collection also features a denim wash and a sportswear detergent created specially for blended or synthetic fabrics.
Every item comes in a range of fragrance options. Customers can select between the citrus scents of yuzu and kiyomi; the floral and herbal perfumes of clover or tulip; woody fragrances like oud, fir, and cedar; or the delicate scent of sugar. Naturally, a hypoallergenic detergent without a perfume is also available. Other products from the laundry care range include a garment and shoe spray that eliminates bacteria and refreshes items. Finally, clothes and pilling brushes offer an easy solution to keep clothing looking like new for longer. Shoe-related items like polishes and a Paraguayan horse hair brush complete the clothing and shoe care collection.
Organic Skin Care
Launching an organic grooming line came naturally for Tangent GC. The range includes everything from liquid and bar soaps to body washes, body lotions, and hand creams. Similarly to some of the brand’s other products, this series features all-natural ingredients that are both vegan and cruelty-free. The organic formulas provide a gentle way to care for your skin, regardless of skin type.
Every ingredient puts the wellness of your skin first. On the list you can find shea butter, witch hazel water, and aloe vera leaf juice as well as sunflower oils, olive oils, or coconut oils. These skin care products clean, moisturize, and rejuvenate the skin in a natural way while leaving behind a subtle scent. Perfumes range from yuzu and tulip to fir and oud, offering a great choice between fruity, floral, and woody notes.
Made with care in Sweden and in France, the brand‘s collection also features minimalist packaging with a modern twist. For example, the hand creams come in aluminum tubes, while the soaps and washes have simple white labels to look great in any bathroom.
