Architecture, Italians do it better

T House in Milan by Takane Ezoe, Modourbano

View all 18 Photos

T House is a perfect live-in studio and no wonder because the space is the collaborative effort of Japanese artist and performer Takane Ezoe and Milan-based design firm Modourbano. The Milanese residence accommodates all aspects of Ezoe’s work, including a double-height gallery, private archival space, and spacious living quarters. The natural-chic theme utilizes hardwood floors and wooden banisters around the stairs that lead to the second floor, the warmth of the material complementing the clean, white walls that act as canvas for Ezoe. Norman windows and a plentitude of light make the studio inviting and contemplative not just or visitors and the artist, but also for the Zen greenery and plants scattered throughout the home.
