Los Angeles-based swrve has a penchant for making well-designed clothing that looks great anywhere, from indoors to outdoors; from an urban environment to natural landscape. As the company’s lead designer Matt Rolletta explains, “over the 13 years I’ve been designing for swrve, I’ve perfected how to create garments that move seamlessly with the body.” Made with an innovative fabric, the latest range from Los Angeles-based outdoor apparel brand impresses both with its style and functionality.

The CORDURA® combat wool™ fabric boasts a ripstop weave as well as a sumptuous hand-feel and a slight stretch for more comfort. As soft as Merino wool, the fabric provides a wide range of advantages. Not only does it have ten times the abrasion resistance of wool, but it also offers 1.4 more tear resistance compared to the natural material. CORDURA® combat wool™ also wicks moisture off the skin, keeping a cooler temperature during summer, and offers plenty of warmth during winter.

Launched on Kickstarter on August 31, the CORDURA® Combat Wool™ CAPSULE Collection includes both short-sleeve and long-sleeve button-up shirts as well as a work jacket, an unstructured blazer, and a cap. The blazer is elegant and hard-wearing at the same time, while the jacket takes inspiration from vintage work jackets. Ideal for day to day wear, the shirts feature a range of functional details, such as double back pleated yolks and gusseted side panels. Backers can choose between various options to support swrve’s campaign, as well as from three beautiful colors. Photographs© Steven Treboux and Chris Fortuna.
