A gorgeous bicycle that impresses with its sleek design and modern tech.
After collaborating with Aston Martin on the Vanquish ‘One of Seven’ project, Storck Bicycles founder Markus Storck decided to partner with the automotive giant’s EVP & Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman to create a range of bikes. And the result? The jaw-dropping stunner Storck Fascenario.3 Aston Martin Edition bicycle. More than just a stylish design, the bike also features innovative technology to provide impressive performance. The frame and forks combine state-of-the-art nano carbon technology with aerodynamics, while the premium components ensure that the bike leads the way in the road bikes category. As Reichman explains, the bicycle “reflects not only many of the key technical aspects of an Aston Martin, but also our ethos of excellence.”
Improving upon the award-winning and celebrated Storck Fascenario.3, this limited edition version features an ultra-lightweight frame that weighs only 770g. Other lightweight components from THM and ZIPP keep the bike’s total weight at just 5.9kg. The frame perfectly balances stiffness, strength, flexibility, and comfort thanks to the nano carbon technology. A flat-backed seat post also enhances compliance. At the front, the open and wide fork improves the bike’s aerodynamic design, adding an eye-catching accent to the frame at the same time.
Other notable features include the wireless gear shifting technology from SRAM which not only maintains the bike’s clean aesthetic, but also ensures that the left (to go down) and right (to go up) levers mirror the Aston Martin paddles. Finally, the paint adds the perfect finishing touch. Argentum Nero offers a creative take on the automotive giant’s racing green color, changing hues from glossy gray to green or silver, depending on the viewing angle.
The Storck Fascenario.3 Aston Martin Edition made it grand entrance at the 2017 Rouleur Classic in Victoria House, London which took place between 2-4 November. With only 107 units built, the bike will no doubt become a collector’s item as well as a rare and welcome sight on the road. Photographs© Storck and Aston Martin.
