The large-format photos capture moments that tell rich stories of people from countries as diverse as India, Macedonia, or Cuba. Every image captivates and pushes the viewer to take a moment and appreciate its layers, narrative, composition, and striking details. “…the glorious feast of photographs offered here gives us the heart of his work, which has to do with finding the human behind the headlines and so restoring the humanity of us all.” – Pico Iyer, from the foreword of Steve McCurry In Search of Elsewhere: Unseen Images. Published by Laurence King, the book features 208 pages and 102 images. Photography and traveling fans can order it from Laurence King’s online store for $70. Photographs© Steve McCurry.
