Steam_21 Bench by Bae Sehwa

View all 5 Photos

Steam_21 is a bench made of walnut and upholstered in leather. Created by Korean designer Bae Sehwa, the piece reimagines luxury in contemporary geometries and natural forms, blending resplendent, measured, and flowing elements. The fine lines bend like a river. At the same time, the shine of the wood brings sophistication to the organic styling and contrasts with the matte black leather. Currently on view at the Collective 2: Design Fair in New York City, the piece is part of the exhibit by the Los Angeles and Seoul-based Gallery Seomi.
