The Sparrow X Round Clock by Haoshi

A charming sculptural wall clock inspired by nature.

Established in 2009 in Taipei, Taiwan, Haoshi makes clocks, lighting, candles, home accessories, and decorative items inspired by nature and the animal world. Haoshi refers to the Chinese pronunciation of “good things” and reflects the brand’s mission to make living spaces both happier and more creative with thoughtfully designed products. Apart from their imaginative designs, Haoshi’s collections also bring a touch of nature into contemporary interiors.

The Sparrow X Round Clock boasts a round case that houses three sparrows. Perched on slender bars, the sparrows have a realistic, detailed design. Looking at them up close, the viewer can admire the skillfully crafted birds and intricately hand carved feathers. Depending on the viewing angle, the sparrows appear slightly different as the light highlights certain details. On the dial, two wide hands in different shades of gray show the current time. The minimalist dial has no markers, numbers, or letters. Handmade, the Sparrow X Round Clock features a resin and iron build with both white and light gray paint finish. It’s a sculptural timepiece that doubles as wall décor while also putting the passage of time in a serene, maybe even more relaxed light. Photographs©: Haoshi.
