Made to order, custom fitted apparel manufactured sustainably.

Driven by a desire to revolutionize the clothing industry, Son of a Tailor produces custom apparel with no waste. The clothing-tech company uses a cleverly simple system to ensure that the products made sustainably. Every garment is made to order and custom fitted for each customer. With no stock in warehouses and no middlemen, the brand can keep prices low and effectively eliminate waste from the clothing manufacturing process. Instead of mass production, Son of a Tailor relies on a more personal approach.

Customers create their custom size using the brand’s own Perfect Fit™ algorithm. Then, they can browse through the collection, which includes essentials like t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, knitwear and activewear. For the last step, the company produces the garment using the customer’s unique measurements and a precise laser cutting technique. The Free Remake Guarantee means that if it doesn’t fit perfectly, the company replaces the item free of charge.

While this system focuses on reducing and even eliminating waste, Son of a Tailor also offers quality products. Working with carefully selected partners in Portugal and Italy, the company makes durable garments using premium materials. Among them, 100% extra long staple cotton, which is the world’s highest grade cotton, GOTS-certified organic cotton from Turkey, and Merino wool from Australia. Each garment comes with a label that bears the name of the person who has made that specific item of clothing. Customers can then look up the person online, on the Son of a Tailor website. The collection includes essentials with minimal designs that are versatile and timeless. Furthermore, the company offers a range of classic colors along with a limited selection of new colors each month, with a color calendar available on their website. Finally, Son of a Tailor offers free worldwide shipping. Photography© Son of a Tailor.
