SCROOSER – The World’s First Electric Scooter

View all 8 Photos

The urban electric transportation revolution continues and it’s taking an ingenious turn. Case in point? Scrooser, the world’s first electric scooter with an impulse drive. Designed with a modern, minimalist appearance and various motor options, it’s the perfect solution for those who want to get from point A to point B in style and comfort.

But if you love the way your bike gets your muscles going and your heart pumping, relax. This scooter doesn’t eliminate physical activity like classic designs do. That’s because it has a motor that is actually activated by the user’s muscle power. Scrooser starts with one push by the foot off the ground, which sets the electric motor going, and then adapts to the user’s riding style, adjusting the acceleration accordingly.

The scooter also comes with extra-wide tires and a comfortable saddle. Anti-theft features include a digital key, a steel cable lock and an immobilizer. As for tech specs, the scooter has a range of 34 miles, a speed of 3.7, 12.4 or 15.5 mph, depending on the model, and a charging time of 2.5-4 hours, with a completely electric option also offered for those who want to relax completely as they ride. Available colors include classic back and white as well as vibrant red, green or blue. Photo credits: Scrooser.
