The classic Ludwig bike, now in a limited-edition nougat color.
Inspired by the beauty of the nougat color, Berlin-based Schindelhauer Bikes launched an exclusive series of their classic bikes that showcase this warm hue in all its glory. We particularly love the limited-edition Schindelhauer Ludwig bike. It now features a nougat brown color that beautifully complements the sporty but elegant design. Blending riding comfort with a lightweight build, the bike suits urban commuting, touring, and riding on steep hills. It comes with the Shimano Alfine 11-speed internal geared hub as well as the reliable, maintenance-free, and quiet Gates Carbon Drive CDX timing belt.
Apart from the premium quality Brooks leather saddle, Ludwig also comes with leather handlebar grips. Other features include Continental Contact Urban tires with reflective stripes, CNC machines aluminum pedals, and Tektro brakes. The user can also install mudguards and a pannier rack, if needed. Finally, this version of the Ludwig bike features an engraved number on the dropout.
Alongside Ludwig, Schindelhauer Bikes also made three other classic models in the limited-edition nougat color: Lotte, Friedrich, and Frieda. All of the bikes are produced in a limited series of only 50 pieces. In the first hour, they sold out on the brand’s website, but you can still find the first two models at selected dealers. Alternatively, you can keep your eyes peeled for the last two launches; the Friedrich Nougat Edition will make its debut in January, while Frieda will be available from May 2021.
