San Cristobal Hotel In Mexico

View all 12 Photos

A dream getaway for those who love peace, quiet and seeing breathtaking views every day, San Cristobal Hotel sits between the Pacific Ocean, Punta Lobos and the Sierra De La Laguna mountains. Located on the beach at the edge of the Baja peninsula in Todos Santos, in Mexico, the hotel is a perfect escape from city living, bringing guests closer to nature. Apart from the great views, those who stay in one of the 32 rooms can also see local fishermen getting out to the sea every morning and bring in the day’s catch for the hotel’s restaurant. Rich farmland surrounds the building. Driving to and from town, visitors can get a glimpse at avocado, papaya, chili, and even basil crops, making for a truly fragrant experience.

Designed by the Lake | Flato architecture studio, the rooms boast a traditional as well as modern-eclectic décor. Each room has handmade coco-mat mattresses and custom linen as well as bright rugs, blankets and pillows with eye-catching patterns. Mosaic tiles with complex designs complement simple wooden furniture and stylish pendant lights. Some rooms provide uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean or the mountains, while others open towards the central pool and Punta Lobos. But anyone staying at the hotel can also go to the stunning deck area which overlooks the beach.

The hotel’s restaurant offers a blend of Mexican and Mediterranean food, made with fresh, local ingredients. Guests have access to a common lounge area, a library, and a retail shop, with a chapel and a large hall also on site for those who want to make the hotel a place to remember a lifetime.
