Rural Tourism at Monte Novo da Cruz

View all 31 Photos

The high-end hotel Monte Novo da Cruz can be found on the Alentejo Coast in Odemira, Portugal. The total property includes the owner’s home and a new guest building for family friends and people exploring in rural tourism. Designed by [i]da arquitecto, the contemporary addition provides outdoor dining and both rooftop and ground floor lounging areas. The relaxing space opens up the rooms to views of the sky and the landscape alike. Inside, the contemporary interiors indicate that this is more of a home than a conventional resort. Outside, the lawn, pool, and stretch of exposed earth offer three distinct experiences of nature. Photography © Joao Morgado.
