Rumpl’s Iceland Geo Print Puffy Blanket

View all 8 Photos

The coolest way to keep warm in cold weather.

An almost poetic blend of contrasts, Rumpl’s new Iceland Geo Print Puffy Blanket features a gorgeous pattern that references the frozen ocean and landscapes of Iceland. For the latest version of the popular puffy blanket, the Portland-based brand took inspiration from the work of photographer and filmmaker Thomas Woodson, who traveled to Iceland on a “once-in-a-lifetime ski expedition” and captured the country’s rugged beauty. Featuring shades of blue, the Iceland Geo Print reminds of the vastness of the sky and of the open arctic sea. At the same time, it keeps cold at bay, providing warmth and comfort in low temperatures.

The weather-resistant 20D ripstop nylon shell features a DWR treatment, ensuring that the blanket resists water, dirt, and odor. The lightweight 3D Hollow Fiber Synthetic Insulation offers plenty of warmth, even while out camping in an icy wonderland. Measuring 50’x70′, the blanket provides generous coverage, but it conveniently compresses into a 6.5’x14 size. A stuff sack is also included, to make transportation on exciting trips or back to storage as easy as possible. To top it all off, the Iceland Geo Print is compatible with both washing and drying machines. This limited-edition puffy blanket is currently available on the brand’s website in a throw size, at a price of $129.
