A timeless furniture collection designed to enhance modern or classic settings.

Founded in 1991, Italian brand Roda pioneered the concept of indoor-outdoor furniture, with designs meant to enhance the aesthetics – not just the functionality – of an enclosed or an exterior space. The company’s 2021 collection displays the same attention to elegant design, sustainability, and quality craftsmanship. The Levante line is the centerpiece of the latest Roda catalog. Designed by Italian architect Piero Lissoni, the Levante collection of outdoor furniture comprises three seating designs as well as a table in two sizes. The simple designs celebrate traditional craftsmanship and the warmth of natural materials. Crafted from FSC-certified teak wood, the furniture suits any outdoor living spaces like gardens and terraces.

While the seating boasts more prominent wooden slats that create a play between light and shadow throughout the day, the tables have more subtle openings. The range includes an armchair, a folding lounge chair, and a classic chaise-lounge. All of them come with optional cushions; customers can select between 14 colors that range from beige and gray to blue and green. The tables feature a powder-coated stainless steel structure that provides support to the teak top and teak legs. Thanks to the Levante collection’s timeless design, these pieces of furniture look at home anywhere, from modern to classic settings.

Apart from this range, the Roda 2021 catalog also includes tables, planters and rugs that celebrate sustainable design. For example, the Plein Air table designed by Michael Anastassiades features a stoneware top made with 40% recycled ceramic. Likewise, designer Gordon Guillaumier’s Bush On large planters are made from one of the most eco-friendly materials available: cork. Finally, Maria Gabriella Zecca’s hand-woven Tint rugs offer an elegant way to make an outdoor space look more elegant and welcoming. Photography© Roda.
