Rézo, Oblik et Too by Fred Rieffel

View all 8 Photos

Half the pleasure of reading is the setup. Finding the perfect place in which to lose oneself through the depths of literature is both challenging and rewarding. Fred Rieffel acknowledges this quest and strives to deliver an all-inclusive setting for the avid reader. Rézo, Oblik et Too is a collection of bookshelf, chair, and footstool constructed from boards of spruce. The simplistic forms lend themselves to easy assembly, yet the slight angles at which the pieces meet still fittingly remind of an open-faced book. The bookshelf echoes minimalism, and is composed of three horizontal planes “strung” together by aluminum columns that provide additional flexibility and space for larger folios and volumes.
