Reversed History by Katja Pettersson

“Reversed History” by Katja Pettersson redefines an old chair found at a flea market. Employing hardware tools and a sandblaster, the artist shaved away the aged and varnished wood while minding the original shape. Revealing the very wood that was hidden before, the resulting chair looks at once raw and antique.
