Recording Studio by UM Project

Remembering the vintage consoles that paved the way for technology today is this authentic old meets new recording equipment, thanks to the talent of our friend designer François Chambard at UM Project in Brooklyn. It combines current capabilities from Tonelux and Apple with inspiration from a 1960 German brand Wiener Schwachstrom Werke with real working parts and original minty green details. Built for the enthusiasts it tickles old school memories and yet also functions for modern use. Its a handsome furniture piece, with smooth metal plates against light wood panels, generous in size and jam packed with nostalgia.
