Re-release of the Braun ET 66 Calculator

View all 2 Photos

Originally designed in 1981 by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs, this 8-digit electronic calculator is not only a strong reminder of the 80s decade, but its existence brushed with that of the first Apple computers on the market. It’s no accident that the iPhone calculator looks familiar, as Steve Jobs admired and acknowledged the design ideas of Dieter Rams. The Braun ET 66’s classic styling, approachable interface with attractive round buttons, slim size and case helped to transition the calculator to an everyday personal item which is still remembered today.
