Rayen Restaurant Installation by Fos

View all 12 Photos

A punch of cheer has been beamed onto the face of this vegan restaurant Rayen at Lope de Vega street in Madrid by Eleni Karpatsi, Susan Piquer and Julio Calvo the (fos) trio. It’s a gratifying explosion of yellow paint finding its point of interest from an industrial lamp overhead. The project is called fos to highlight the name of the new born architecture and design superstars based out of Madrid and Barcelona whereas the term means light in Greek and melted in Catalan. Using a blanket of common colored subjects like pineapples, a vase of flowers, and a crooked painted bistro set, they have run the lines of energy on both horizontally and vertically set surfaces waving their flag of fun and unpredictability.
