Rapt Studio’s Trophy Bike

View all 9 Photos

VF Outdoor Corporation and Rapt Studio’s Trophy Bike is almost too beautiful for the streets. To create the raw material fixed gear bike, they collaborated with Michael Pfaltzgraff, who has designed Trek bikes for the Tour de France and worked with prominent artists including Damien Hirst, Kaws and Barry McGee. The streamlined, classic model is comprised of a number of materials – the frame is brushed chromoly and sleek white aluminum, with walnut handlebars and a stained leather saddle. A topographical pattern covers the exposed raw steel of the bicycle’s frame, and a partnership with NOTCOT produced the custom laser-cut medallion at the front of the bike, which bears the initials of the Senior Vice President of VF Outdoor, Steve Rendle. These details abound, making the Trophy Bike truly unique.
