Rambla Beach House in Chile

View all 15 Photos

LAND Arquitectos’ Rambla House stands on a rocky beach in Zapallar City of the Valparaíso Region of Chile. The coastal dream home offers a full view of the Pacific Ocean and begs the family to play outside on the deck and in the private pool. Glass walls encase the kitchen and dining room, and experiencing nature is an everyday part of living in the home. At the same time, the glass exposes the home’s triangular support beams and concrete and wood interior so that the contemporary design be admired from outside. One of the visible spaces is a barbecue section with a skylight for venting the smoke and grilling under the stars.
