Introducing The Rains Bag Collection

Minimalist water-resistant bags for the fashion-conscious urban dwellers.

The Danish Rains brand knows a thing or two about rain. Based in Aarhus, Denmark, the company drew inspiration for its brand identity and products from the country’s often unpredictable weather conditions. Indeed, Copenhagen experiences more rainfall per year than London does, which means that creating a water-resistant range of apparel and accessories came naturally to the brand.

Rains’ collection of bags pays homage to Nordic design principles. Featuring an ultra-minimalist aesthetic, the bags are both timeless and versatile. All of them are expertly crafted from a water-resistant fabric that boasts a matte surface. Waterproof zippers ensure that rain drops stay away from the interior, while the full lining adds another layer of protection. Designed to be as practical as they are stylish, the bags come with laptop compartments and smaller pockets for essentials. Carabinier details and adjustable straps complete the designs.

The collection includes different types of bags, to suit virtually any need and preference. The larger Rains Backpack and MSN Bag are both perfect for commuters, as they have a volume of 3-3,72 gallons and come with compartments for laptops. The former suits 13’’ laptops, while the latter accommodates laptops of 13’’-15’’. Perfect for the everyday, the Rains Tote Bag features webbing straps and a pocket inside the main compartment.

Finally, the Travel Duffel and the Weekend Bag make traveling more convenient and stylish. They boast Rains brand’s signature minimalist look and both have adjustable and detachable straps. While the duffel has an impressive capacity of 70 liters / 18,5 gallons and two pockets, the weekend bag keeps things simple with one main compartment of 44 liters / 11 gallons and extra adjustable snap buttons. A complete collection for the urban commuters and adventurers who love good design. Shop Rains bags here.
