If you’re planning on upgrading your ride to a greener version that also turns heads, now’s the perfect time. Why? Because this Porsche Panamera hybrid was recently launched, and its power and green credentials more than match its good looks. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo comes with a four-liter V8 engine and an electric motor, providing 500 kW/680 hp and 850 Nm of torque at above idle speed.

With a zero to 100km/h acceleration time of only 3.4 seconds and an impressive 310km/h top speed, the Panamera Turbo certainly brings some excitement to the hybrid market. Using only the electric motor for zero emissions, it has a range of 49 kilometers as well as a top speed of 140 km/h. Even with the V8 engine, Panamera Turbo only consumes around 3 liters per 100km. The 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery charges completely in 2.6 to 6 hours, depending on the power connection and charger.

Apart from its impressive power and stunning design, the car also comes with a range of state-of-the-art features. These include innovative assistance systems, the unique roof spoiler that adapts to different driving modes, and the company’s high-performance ceramic brakes system. In terms of comfort, air conditioning comes as standard and the cabin also features three rear seats which come with individually folding backrest. The spacious luggage compartment has a capacity of 425 liters that can expand to 1,295 liters. Prices for the Porsche Panamera hybrid start at 188,592 euros, which translates to roughly $222,300.
