The Parga Granite Pendant Collection

A collection of minimalist lighting inspired by ancient stone carvings.

Used since ancient times for decorative items, granite now enriches contemporary lighting design in an inspired collection. Drawing inspiration from the contrasting elements of light and stone, Galicia-based design studio Cenlitros created a beautiful pendant light series for lighting brand a-emotional light. Named Parga, the minimalist pendants reference ancient carvings and sculptural objects with their blend of circular and flat forms. The collection comprises hanging lights in three sizes and diameters, providing a stylish solution to create a dynamic composition in a room. At the same time, they look gorgeous on their own, with their size making them especially suitable for dining areas, kitchens and hallways.

Each pendant is crafted from discarded pieces of granite that has been mined from quarries in Galicia, meaning that this collection is also eco-friendly and a perfect example of sustainable design anchored in local traditions. Dense and compact, the granite has a light gray hue and boasts black specks and a fine grain, giving an exceptionally tactile quality to the design. Thanks to their minimalist expression and rich materiality, the Parga pendants offer an elegant lighting option for living spaces or commercial settings, offices, and hospitality environments. Each pendant comes with an integrated LED light of 2700K – 960 lumens and a black suspension cable. Finally, a phase cut dimming system allows users to adjust the intensity of the light.
