Paper Art Animals by Estudio Guardabosques

View all 7 Photos

These paper art animals were created as part of an ongoing series by Estudio Guardabosques, an group of illustrators and art directors based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Starting from a 3D figure or an illustration, drawn by hand or using computer software, the artists handcraft each piece, folding quality paper into a complex polygon shape. The models represent favorite animals such as tigers, foxes, and bears. Bright yet relatively realistic, the sculptures mirror the colors and poses of their real-world counterparts.
