Outlier’s Ultrahigh Duffle is a casual bag that’s versatile enough to be worth the $450 pricetag. The accessory can be used as an everyday gym bag or as jet-setting carry-on. Made of Ultrahigh nonwoven composite, a Dyneema polyethylene fabric, the bag is lightweight and has a crinkled, papery look. The item is nonetheless strong; its self-reinforcing Armordon polypropylene structure holds pretty much anything one can carry. The tough bag also boasts aluminum Xlite buckles, Biothane webbing, military-grade stainless steel G-hooks, and YKK Uretech zippers.
The bag itself can be compressed and expanded to hold as little as needed or as much as 78 liters. Thanks to its rolltop construction and padded double strap, the bag can also change shape, transforming from a tote to a duffle that can be carried by hand, across the body, and over the shoulder. The dynamic size and shape of the bag enables the wearer to travel light while allowing items to be added over the course of a trip. For smaller items, there are also three Tweave stretch pockets: an outer zipper pocket, an external easy-access sleeve, and an internal zipper pocket for organized packing.
