Orienteering Concrete Terra Cielo Mare Watch

View all 8 Photos

A brutalist-inspired take on an iconic timepiece.

Following the great success of the Orienteering BP watch, Italian brand Terra Cielo Mare launches a new version for 2018. The Orienteering Concrete watch maintains the original’s complex build and adventure-ready concept, but adds a touch of urban style to the design. Unsurprisingly, the timepiece impresses with its level of craftsmanship which defines the brand’s collections. This Terra Cielo Mare watch features a finely-tuned Swiss movement, with new details giving another dimension to the previous version. The concrete CO2 laser engraved dial pays homage to brutalist architecture. It also boasts a medium gray tone that provides the perfect backdrop to the black, white and red hands.

A patented carbon fiber strap complements the textured dial. Made of recycled materials, it’s not only eco-friendly, but also hydro repellent, ultra-thin, and super-resistant. Fans of the original will be delighted to find the signature solar compass feature with the turning bezel that points North as well as the stellar map on the back case. Other features include a grade 2, 44mm titanium case with a black PVD treatment and a blue PVD finish on the back, two screw crowns, and an anti-scratch and anti-reflection sapphire crystal. Of course, the Terra Cielo Mare watch is also anti-magnetic and waterproof up to 10 atmospheres to provide superior performance. Photographs© Terra Cielo Mare.
