Leading the way in the sustainable fashion industry.

Founded in 2015 by four friends, Danish brand Organics Basics had a clear mission from the very beginning. The company wanted to provide a sustainable alternative in the fashion industry and to introduce ethically made, sweatshop free underwear. When the brand launched the innovative SilverTech collection on Kickstarter, the campaign ended on an impressive high. Not only did it surpass the initial goal more than four times over, but it became the most successful crowdfunded fashion campaign in Scandinavia. With the launch of Organics Basics SilverTech 2.0, that soon may change. Following on the footsteps of the previous range, the new collection aims to revolutionize the humble wardrobe basics with innovative technology. A blend of minimalist design and function, the range transforms the way the user wears and washes these wardrobe staples. All for the good of the planet.

Guided by the mantra “wear more, wash less”, the company designed a collection of men’s basics made with SilverTech 2.0. This highly-advanced material features Q-Nova mechanically recycled nylon sourced and developed in Italy from post-industrial waste fibers. Treated with the innovative and Bluesign® approved Polygiene® silver antibacterial treatment, the fibers minimize the growth of odor-causing bacteria, leading to fewer washing cycles.

The nylon yarns are also durable and moisture-wicking. Thanks to the seamless knitting technology and the quality of the fibers, the fabric maintains its shape over time. Which ensures that these wardrobe staples will look great for a long time. Of course, the material is also breathable and comfortable to wear. And to top it all off, SilverTech 2.0 regulates temperature to keep the user warm when it’s cold and cool when it’s hot.

Perfect for active lifestyles and the environmentally-conscious, the SilverTech 2.0 collection features sweatshop free underwear, t-shirts, and long sleeve tees. All made with the 100% sustainable, breathable, anti-microbial, and wrinkle-resistant SilverTech 2.0 fabric. Organic Basics launched the campaign on Kickstarter and surpassed its goal in less than 24 hours. Backers can get the collection at a reduced price until June 2, 2018. Photographs© Organic Basics.
