Op and Meridio, Italian Furniture for Outdoor Spaces

Italian furniture specially designed for balconies and terraces.

Having access only to a small balcony or terrace shouldn’t stop you from creating a cozy and welcoming outdoor space. That’s the concept behind Op and Meridio, a set of outdoor furniture that puts the focus on function and convenience without sacrificing style. Designed by Mario Alessiani for Hiro, the set provides the perfect solution to make the most of a compact area. Both designs are versatile and combine simple forms like curved metal tubes and circular metal sheets. Op features rounded legs reminiscent of a sled and a practical handle that makes moving the stool from one place to another as easy as possible. The seat boasts curved edges that enhance comfort as well as the stool’s stability and strength.

Likewise, the table optimizes function with a mechanism that allows the user to simply “fold” the top to one side. As a result, it’s easy to minimize the required storage space. Crafted from steel with a durable finish, the stool and table suit outdoor spaces and year-round use. The designer specially created the set for small balconies and terraces. Perfect for having breakfast in the morning or a drink in the evening, this outdoor furniture set transforms even a previously unused area into a home’s most popular space in the spring, summer, and fall. The Op stool and Meridio table come in a wide range of versatile colors. Apart from classic black and white versions, they’re also made in colors like light terracotta, cornflower blue, or vanilla.
