The limited time collaborative shoe collection between fair trade certified lifestyle brand, Oliberte, and menswear & footwear designer Mark McNairy, features two variants of a desert Chukka boot and one Wallabee boot. Ranging from 175 to 195 dollars, these partially hand-stitched boots have a premium cow suede upper, are lined with 100% goatskin, and have a natural crepe rubber outsole. Each shoe in the collection comes in two colors, neutral grey or sandy tan suede. Details such as the simple stichdown construction along the base and edges of the shoe add subtle detailing that elevates this low-key look. All lace-ups boots, the MOJOO x McNairy is the tallest boot and provides coverage well above the ankle, similar to a snow or work boot. The BOLOO x McNairy has a Moccasin like Wallabee silhouette with an antique leather accent heel. Lastly, the GOBOO x McNairy stays true to the classic Chukka design. Both recent start-ups rising with the recent cultural arrival of metrosexual fashion, Oliberte (est. 2009) and Mark McNairy New Amsterdam (est. 2008) have gained notoriety and a cult following for their smart designs and attention to quality.
