The Ocean Travertine Collection

A balance between elegance and solidity.

An exploration of form and material, the Ocean Travertine collection translates natural stone into refined, modern furniture. Designed by Clément Brazille for Ateliers Romeo, the collection features a patented design and structure. The high-resistance tubular elements combine a seemingly fragile appearance with superior solidity to provide the perfect blend of style and support. “There are many methods to begin a project. I first started visiting the workshops and the idea of shaping stone tubes came to me. It seemed to be an interesting direction to follow with an important creative and innovative potential while keeping in mind the production implementation “, explains the designer.

Apart from their distinct design, the pieces of furniture also offer excellent support. The stone tubes, which measure 4cm in diameter, complement a lightweight build with solidity. The ocean blue travertine boasts unique textures and colors, making each table and desk one-of-a-kind. Handmade in southern Italy, the collection includes side tables, dinner tables, and coffee tables as well as consoles and a desk. All of them suit both indoor and outdoor use. The manufacturing company also offers a range of other stone options to suit different interiors or preferences. Numbered and signed by designer Clément Brazille, the collection is currently available through the Ateliers Romeo website. Photographs© Baptiste Coulon.
