We’re fans of the Hach watch collection made by Objest and we wrote about it back in July. That’s why we’re more than happy to see the brand create a new range that maintains the same minimalist design but transforms the beautiful watches into automatic and customizable timepieces. Consumers want “more input in the design of premium products and experiences,” says company founder Jared Mankelow, and that’s where this collection excels.

Owners can create a custom watch that represents them perfectly by choosing the color of the Italian leather strap, dial, buckle, hands, or crown, adding a personal touch to their new timepiece. Changes from the previous range include the addition of the high-quality ETA automatic mechanism which is also found in the Rolex Submariner or the Breitling Windrider; the new movement eliminates the need for batteries and ensures that the watches will run smoothly for a long time. In terms of appearance, the 3D hatched pattern returns and it’s joined by a minimalist dot dial design; both are completed with a two-tone finish to give them more definition and character. The case is slightly larger, at 42mm compared to the previous 40mm version, but the cambered surface of the dial makes the watch look more graceful than other similarly sized timepieces. 11.5 mm thick, water resistant up to 5 ATM, and completed with a sapphire glass cover, the watches are built to last and to withstand almost anything. Now you can support the campaign on Kickstarter and have the opportunity to not only pre-order the new Objest watches at a reduced price, but to also create a custom timepiece you’ll use for a lifetime.
