Nike and Japanese knit brand Loopwheeler continue their creative collaboration with two new styles. Following on the footsteps of the popular Air Force 1 and the Sock Dart silhouettes, which both received an indigo-blue upper makeover, the Aptare SE and Roshe Two boast the same heathered material. A trademark feature of Loopwheeler’s cotton sweatshirts, the fabric adds texture to the upper. It also complements the sporty design and the white rubber outsoles.
The two styles feature the iconic swoosh as well as a debossed Loopwheeler logo on the pull tabs. While Roshe Two comes with a slightly extended collar and indigo laces, the more minimal Aptare SE boasts a bungee cord collar lacing system. Japanese customers will be able to buy the new styles from September 1 at select stores. These include Nike Harajuku, Tokyo’s Nike Lab MA5, and Loopwheeler stores in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka. Fortunately, the designs will also be available online for the rest of the world. Photographs© Nike.
