Naive Low Chair By Emko

View all 7 Photos

An eye-catching and comfortable lounge chair.

Lithuanian brand Emko embraces creative design with open arms. Case in point? Its wall-mounted storage unit/desk shaped like a pill. Or the wall lamp that mimics the colors and natural lighting of sunlight to make living spaces feel more relaxing. And who could forget the playful cast iron candle holders that remind of sea exploration? Now, the brand expands its Naïve seating range with a modern and creatively designed low chair.

The brainchild of etc.etc. studio, the Naïve Low Chair features the same rounded and slightly angled legs that also stand out in the design of the chair, stool, and bar chair from the same collection. Playful and distinctive, the lounger comes with a leather strap which connects the textile upholstered backrest to the wooden frame. Apart from this creative accent, the different materials also provide a play between textures and finishes. Colors include Cognac and Anthracite for the leather section, while the frame comes in ash or black ash. The upholstery also offers plenty of options to complement any decor. The brand offers two types of premium materials: Kvadrat and Gabriel – Step Melange, each of them available in four different colors.

The larger seat and backrest enhance the feeling of comfort further, making this low chair an ideal choice for a living room or office. Like all the other products from the range, the Naïve Low Chair comes flat-packed. The user can easily assemble and also disassemble the chair, when and as needed. Emko presented this design, among other new products, at IMM Cologne 2018, which took place between 15-21 January, 2018.
